Happy Thursday to all! Here are a few stories from Texas and around the country.

Former 2016 Trump campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson knocked off incumbent state rep. Justin Holland for TX House District 33 runoff election, winning 56%-44%. Holland was targeted by Greg Abbott for his failure to help pass school choice here in Texas and also voted to impeach Attorney General Ken Paxton.

Pierson will face no Democratic challenger in the general election and will go on to win District 33. Huge victory for the State of Texas as we work to remove RINO members in Austin and ensure that every conservative piece of legislation is passed.

Texas DPS troopers nab a human smuggler. The driver, Jose Guadalupe Salina was towing a horse trailer with an F-250, was pulled over by a DPS agent and consented to a search where 27 illegal aliens were found.

Some of the illegals were dehydrated and needed medical attention, Salinas was taken into custody and will be charged with human smuggling. This is why it is critical to have things done at the state level as a layer of protection when the Biden Administration has clearly exploited the border for political gain.

Without the brave men and women in the Texas DPS, this human smuggler could have transported many more illegals into the country.

Seriously?! Department of Labor calls women menstruators.

Majority in poll conducted of 18 to 30 year old Americans, feel America is in decline, 54%. Nearly two-thirds (65%) of respondents agreed with the statement, “nearly all politicians are corrupt.” When it came to the topic of Covid-19, a majority (51%) said they were happier before the pandemic. A whopping 77% said the country changed for the worse because of it, which I think it did. There are many reasons why but the biggest one being that the Democrats used the pandemic to rig a presidential election! Now we have Joe Biden, high inflation, wars, border out of control and a weaponized government.

Despite all of that, 38% said they believe they would have a higher standard of living in the America. Compared to 20% in Scandinavia, 16% in a major European country such as France, Germany or UK and 13% in Canada. So this tells me, a plurality feel that America gives them the best shot at living a great life. We can take comfort in that.
